Welcome to the High Energy
Density Plasma (HEDP) Electromagnetic Particle-In-Cell Code Project
Page
The propose of this project is two
fold:
- Develop a well benchmarked
radiation transport model for use in the 3-D EM-PIC code, which
enhances its ability to correctly model high energy density plasmas
and become a general tool for HEDP research.
- Utilize that code to extensively model the plasma
jet accelerators currently under development at HyperV Technologies
for use in fusion energy research and other HEDP applications in
general.
The project is a collaboration between HyperV Technologies Corp.,
Far-Tech Inc.,
Prism Computational Science,
and Voss Scientific, LLC.
This work is supported by the U.S.
Department of Energy Office of Fusion Energy Sciences.
